Why apply this treatment and what role does it play ?
Due to our rainy climate, lawns are subjected to constant acidification as well as continued losses of calcium. Irrigation and removing lawn clippings accelerate the aforementioned, and although the soil may contain an abundance of calcium, it becomes unavailable.
The application of a calcium treatment once every 2 years promotes deeper rooting and facilitates the soil’s work by accelerating decomposition of organic matter, activating humification and mineralization of the humus, regulating nitrification and acidity, neutralizing toxic substances and various organic wastes, as well as participating in the regulation of PH levels.
